Walking with a limp!

Well the last days have been very challenging to say the least. Because of the way the Camino is laid out, if you can do the first two days, then you are good to go. I have never been so challenged physically climbing a mountain and doing 27 km the next day!

Well I made it but left me with a troubled and painful joint. As I was walking the last 8 km, I was taking to a place of renewed appreciation of brokenness.

What I seen in my heart was all the broken people of ALCC and Men of Canada. They are in pain, walking with a limp and just learn to live with the pain.

Well that is going to be my greatest challenge going forward. The worse days are over but there is still a great journey ahead.  I have to walk with the pain! How many people are so broken and I didn't notice. Abba is speaking loudly and I see a little clearer tonight.

I was thinking of all the people in my life who live with pain. It was an emotional afternoon.

I am grateful to be here walking with a limp. I have discovered with all my training, you have to let God work. No training can prepare you for this. But what a view!

Praying for you all!

Beun Camino!

  1. Sorry to hear you are in pain.....challenging for sure. Get some Ibuprofen CREAM at the pharmacy with the green cross. That helped me.

I have my scrapbook out in my study - open to the day you are walking so I am reminded of the walk you are on each day. Hope the next couple of days go better. Plan a day off in Estella to rest up! Pretty town!

    Are you in Larrosoana tonight?
